John Howie At The Bravern

From The Bravern:

You might have seen him on Martha Stewart Living or the CBS Early Morning Show. Originally born in Chicago, chef proprietor and author John Howie earned a national reputation for his eclectic culinary style and his unsurpassed expertise with fresh fish at Seattle’s Palisade Restaurant before opening his own widely acclaimed Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar in Bellevue in 2002.

Now he has turned his attention and considerable talent to steak with a dramatic new restaurant at The Bravern. John Howie Steak will feature a wide variety of steaks and chops as well as an array of fresh seasonal seafood, poultry, vegetables and cheeses. Wine enthusiasts have reason to applaud, too. The restaurant will feature an unprecedented wine list, which Howie hopes will eventually garner the “Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence” and ultimately a “Grand Award.”
